RubinBrown seeks outstanding students and graduates, who demonstrate the desire to succeed in public accounting, understand the value of exceptional teamwork, have demonstrated the capacity for leadership, and have shown commitment to their prior endeavors.
Summer Internship Program
Throughout your internship, you will experience a valuable mix of different types of services provided by RubinBrown. In addition, you will receive thorough training of RubinBrown’s software, auditing procedures, and other accounting and tax topics.
Opportunities
Your schedule will be full of rotations between many areas of accounting at RubinBrown, including Assurance Services, Consulting, Tax, and Internal Audit. You will gain real accounting experience and an understanding of how a premier public accounting firm works. The internship also includes a leadership project that helps you develop general business knowledge, builds camaraderie with other interns, and helps you get to know other RubinBrown team members.
Winter Internship Program
Throughout the winter internship, you will encounter a valuable mix of different types of experiences that RubinBrown has to offer.
Work Experience
You will begin work just like a full-time team member at RubinBrown, and you will experience the same opportunities and responsibilities that all our first year team members do. Part of your internship will be spent on audit engagements. You will interact with the client – accounting clerks, managers, controllers, and maybe even the owners of the company. Another part of the internship is the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, C Corporations and S Corporations.
GOAL Program (Greater Opportunity for Advanced Learning)
The GOAL Program entails having select students work for RubinBrown for a period of three days during a time that is mutually acceptable to both parties. The work completed on these days may include being sent to a client, job shadowing a team member, a manager or a partner, or working on a special project in our office.
