Steve is the Partner in Charge of the Management Consulting Department at RubinBrown. He also heads the firm’s Internal Auditing Services Group. His experience includes thirteen years as Second Vice President of Internal Auditing at General American Life Insurance Company where he managed eleven professionals in ‘value added‘ financial, operational, and information technology auditing services. He developed comprehensive risk assessment models and strategic audit plans and served as a business partner to senior management in proactive fraud investigations, due diligence reviews and other special projects. Steve also spent three years as internal auditing manager for ITT Financial Corporation and six years as audit manager for Ernst and Young.
