Adams Promoted to Partner at RubinBrown Print

adams_prRubinBrown has promoted Chelle F. Adams, CPA, to partner in the Internal Audit Services Group. John F. Herber, CPA, managing partner, made the announcement.

Adams concentrates her efforts on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, risk assessments, business process improvements, franchise royalty audits, and internal audit special projects. With her expertise in the gaming industry, she oversees adjusted gross receipts (AGR) audits and operational audits including currency transaction reporting, slot data systems, and related construction projects for casino clients.

Adams, who joined RubinBrown as a manager in 2003, has more than 13 years of experience in the accounting industry. She previously was employed by Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she gained extensive experience in the internal audit field with a focus on gaming, including riverboat tribal, and commercial casinos. Adams is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Adams holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Truman State University.
