RubinBrown has expanded into 12,700 square feet of new office space at 10975 Grandview Drive in Overland Park. Todd R. Pleimann, CPA, managing partner of the Kansas City office, made the announcement.

“We had outgrown our former Corporate Woods offices and some ideal space became available nearby in another Corporate Woods building that is being totally retrofitted from top to bottom,” said Pleimann. “From the card access security to the newly renovated main lobby and elevator lobbies, Corporate Woods has done a nice job of providing modern office space in a scenic, easy-access office park.
We love our location and the plentiful parking is a real asset for our clients
and team members.”

Gray Design Group, which created RubinBrown’s corporate headquarters, brought the same neutral-colored, tailored and classic look to the firm’s Kansas City offices. “In addition to a strong lobby presence with an attractive glass entry, the sixth-floor space features private offices, work stations, and a large conference center for client meetings and team member training,” noted Wendy Gray, principal. “Four corner conference rooms with exterior window views provide additional attractive meeting space for clients.”

According to Lynn Davis, human resources director for RubinBrown, the firm’s office design reflects the firm’s corporate culture, whereby partner and manager offices are all the same size and in close proximity to all team members.

“We have a one-team, open door approach and all of us work on a level playing field,” noted Davis. “We’ve also found that our interns and recruits enjoy the fresh, modern style of our offices.”

Zimmer Real Estate Services and Discovery Group represented RubinBrown in the transaction, while Stoltz Management Co. represented the building owner. Gray and Ashley Smith of Gray Design Group provided full service architectural and interior design services.
