| Jeanne Marie Doll Business Partner Award |
|
RubinBrown was honored to receive the inaugural Jeanne Marie Doll Business Partner Award at the annual “Stepping Out for the Angels” dinner auction and gala on November 14th. Jeanne was a Partner at RubinBrown and served as Board member and Treasurer for Angels' Arms. She had been involved with Angels' Arms for several years and her dedication made a tremendous impact. The award, named to honor the memory of Jeanne, is given to a business that meets the following criteria:
Bess Wilfong, Founder and Executive Director of Angels' Arms paid tribute to Jeanne: "This year, Angels’ Arms lost Jeanne Doll, one its most loyal board members and supporters. Angels’ Arms found it fitting to honor Jeanne by naming the Community Business Partnership Award after her. For several years, RubinBrown has supported Angels’ Arms in a variety of ways. Several years back, RubinBrown Chairman Jim Castellano asked for someone to serve on the Angels’ Arms board and to provide some much-needed financial oversight and structuring. Jeanne stepped forward and immediately began to work her magic and tend to this arduous task. In addition, Judy Murphy, who heads up the Non-profit accounts, assists Angels’ Arms from time to time, and other RubinBrown team members serve on various fundraising committees. Newly appointed board member and treasurer Brandon Loeschner is picking up Jeanne’s position, keeping this crucial role in the RubinBrown family. We are proud to present the award to RubinBrown, a business that demonstrates care and compassion and supports Angels’ Arms and our mission in many ways." Angels’ Arms is dedicated to providing and supporting loving homes for foster children by keeping brothers and sisters together within a nurturing family until a forever home is found.
