A well-crafted employee communication program is essential for the success of any 401(k) plan or other plan offering self-direction of investments. When participants are faced with savings or investment decisions, they need clear and understandable information that explains the plan’s features, investment options, etc. The RubinBrown Benefits Group also can work with your plan’s investment advisor to design both general and targeted education and enrollment programs. Our communications are designed to educate and inform your employees. Occasionally we also create a “call to action” to assist those employees who may postpone planning for retirement if they are unsure of how to plan or make investment decisions. We also can assist your ESOP sponsor in communicating the workings of the plan to your employee owners.
