Felicia M. Malter, CPA, a partner in the Assurance Services Group at RubinBrown, has been named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2008.
Featured in the Jan.11, 2008, issue of the St. Louis Business Journal, Malter was selected as one of 40 honorees out of nearly 350 nominations. The recipients, recognized for their achievements before the age of 40, were selected by previous 40 Under 40 winners and St. Louis Business Journal editors. They will be honored at a recognition dinner and ceremony on Feb. 7.
“Felicia’s dedication to her profession and her community is exemplary of what we encourage as a firm,” said John F. Herber, CPA, managing partner, RubinBrown. “We are proud to see her being recognized on this level.”
Malter joined RubinBrown in 2003 and began working closely with several St. Louis home builders. She also provides services to companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries. She is a graduate of RubinBrown’s LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program, in which 10 carefully selected employees complete a two-year program designed to develop management talent in the firm.
Outside of RubinBrown, Malter is involved in the Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri and serves on the communications committee of the National Association of Home Builders Women’s Council. She also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as a board member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, the Clayton Chamber of Commerce and the finance committee of the St. Louis Coro Leadership Center. In addition, Malter works closely with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is the chair of the recruitment and sponsorship committee for this year’s Multiple Sclerosis Walk. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University.
