| Kwiatek Named to AICPA State and Local Tax Committee |

 ST. LOUIS, Jan. 2007 Harlan J. Kwiatek, CPA, partner-in-charge of RubinBrown's State and Local Tax Group, has been appointed to the eight-member American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' State and Local Tax Committee. It is an honor to be selected to serve on this committee, said Kwiatek. I am privileged to use my knowledge to help build a body of knowledge on state and local taxes and to help others better understand these specialized tax concepts. Also, it is very helpful to meet colleagues from around the country who specialize in this area. They are a great resource. In addition to the AICPA, Kwiatek is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bar Association and the Missouri Bar Association. He also teaches in the Master of Law in Taxation program at Washington University School of Law and the Master's in Taxation program at Fontbonne University. He holds a doctorate of law from Creighton University, a master's degree in taxation law from Boston University, and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Creighton University.
