DENVER – RubinBrown’s Denver office announces the addition of a new firm partner, Rhonda Sparlin, CPA.

Sparlin will serve as a partner in RubinBrown’s State and Local Tax Services Group. This group is experienced with all categories of state and local tax matters helping clients proactively manage state and local tax obligations. Sparlin’s expertise lies in consulting with businesses on issues related to multistate income, franchise and indirect tax issues. Sparlin serves clients in the manufacturing, retail, technology, healthcare, service, software, mining, and utility industries.

Sparlin holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO, and brings more than 25 years of experience to RubinBrown. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry.

Sparlin regularly presents on multistate tax issues to the Tax Executives Institute, the Council of State Taxation, as well as other organizations.
