On Friday, December 18, President Obama signed into law the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act of 2015.
This sweeping legislation is a combined tax extender package totaling $622 billion, along with a $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill.
More than 50 tax provisions have been extended (several permanently), including enhanced Section 179 expensing deductions, the Research & Experimentation Tax Credits, Bonus Depreciation, and the Child Tax Credit.
