RubinBrown announces that Bryan Hinton, CPA, has joined the firm as a partner in its Nashville office. The announcement was made by RubinBrown Chairman, John F. Herber, Jr., CPA, CGMA.
Hinton has spent more than 30 years working with the construction industry. He has audited and consulted with general contractors, heavy highway and road builders, and specialty subcontractors. He also has extensive experience working with sureties and banks. Hinton spent six years with an international construction company and possesses 25 years of experience in public accounting.
In addition to his audit and consulting work, Hinton has been involved with more than 300 merger and acquisition engagements since 1996. Hinton has performed numerous internal audit and acquisition integration engagements and has extensive experience with acquisition tax strategies.
Hinton has been published in The Journal of Construction Accounting & Taxation in 1999 and 2002, as well as CFMA’s Building Profits in 2002. He has also served as a speaker at the AICPA National Construction Industry Conference and the ASA/CFMA Construction Conference.
Currently, Hinton is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past member of the National Tax Committee of Associated Builders and Contractors.
Hinton graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1984, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
