RubinBrown, one of nation’s top 50 accounting and business consulting firms, recently hired Micah Wenz, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, as a manager in the Business Advisory Services Group. Michael T. Lewis, CFA, managing partner of the Denver office, made the announcement.
As a manager in the Business Advisory Services Group, Wenz provides internal audit and risk-based audit planning to clients in various industries. He specializes in general information technology (IT) risk assessments and controls reviews for public and non-public entities, as well as Systems and Organization Controls (SOC) engagements. His consulting and audit experiences span several industries, including insurance, health care, financial services, manufacturing, utilities and public sector.
Wenz has more than 16 years of professional experience. Prior to joining RubinBrown, he worked at a Chicago-based professional services firm as an IT risk manager.
He is a member of ISACA, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and ISC2. Wenz received a Bachelor of Science in management information systems and finance from Ohio University.
