RubinBrown, one of nation’s top 50 accounting and business consulting firms, recently promoted Jonathan Davis, CPA, CGMA, Matt D’Souza, CPA, Fred Grossman, CPA, Samantha Huff-Schlueter, CPA, Nathan Hutson, CPA, and Melinda Weissman, CPA, to manager positions in the St. Louis office. John Herber, CPA, CGMA, chairman and managing partner, made the announcement.
Jonathan Davis has been with RubinBrown for five years. As a manager in the Assurance Services Group, he works with clients in the real estate industry on low-income housing credits. He received a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in accounting from Truman State University.
Matt D’Souza is a manager in the Entrepreneurial Services Group, specializing in review engagements and tax preparation for clients in the construction industry. He earned a Master’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri Columbia.
As a manager in the Assurance Services Group, Fred Grossman specializes in new markets, low-income housing credits, historic rehabilitation, and general audit services for clients in the real estate industry. He received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rockhurst University.
Samantha Huff-Schlueter is a manager in the Assurance Services Group, where she assists clients in the application of professional standards and internal policies. She provides benefit plan audits, internal audits, risk-based audit planning, and business improvement services for clients in the hospitality, gaming, manufacturing and distribution, mortgage banking, home building and public sector industries. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in accounting from St. Louis University.
As a manager in the Assurance Services Group, Nathan Hutson provides technical accounting research and consulting services, plan audits, internal accounting controls, risk-based audit planning, and business performance analysis services to clients in the manufacturing and distribution, retail and not-for-profit industries. Hutson received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri Columbia. He was also the recipient of the Elijah Watt Sells Award from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Melinda Weissman is a manager in the Assurance Services Group. She provides audit services to clients primarily in the public sector, specializing in OMB Uniform Guidance compliance, as well as numerous plan audits. She received a Bachelor of Science in accountancy from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
