RubinBrown, one of nation’s top 50 accounting and business consulting firms, recently announced key leadership changes in the company. Rick Feldt, CPA, CGMA, was named Partner-in-Charge of the Business Advisory Services Group. Judy Murphy, CPA, CGMA, was named Chair of the Not-for-Profit Services Group, and Amy Altholz, CPA, CGMA, will succeed her as Partner-in-Charge. Jeff Winter, CPA, CGMA, was named Chair of the Public Sector Services Group, and Cheryl Wallace will succeed him as Partner-in-Charge. John Herber, CPA, CGMA, chairman and managing partner, made the announcement.
Rich Feldt has more than 25 years of experience in finance, sales and operations, and has worked at RubinBrown for more than 13 years. As Partner-in-Charge, Feldt will oversee the firm’s Business Advisory Services Group across all offices. He is responsible for the management of internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley engagements, and consulting projects for clients in a variety of industries. He received a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
Judy Murphy is Chair of RubinBrown’s Not-for-Profit ServicesGroup and a Partner in the Assurance Services Group. With more than 35 years of experience, she primarily serves nonprofit clients providing audit, tax, and consulting services. She has extensive experience related to assurance services, accounting processes, systems and controls, and best practices for not-for-profits. Murphy received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Saint Louis University.
Amy Altholz has been with RubinBrown for more than 14 years, and has taken over as Partner-in-Charge of RubinBrown’s Not-for-Profit Services Group across all offices. She is also a Partner in the Assurance Services Group and oversees audit, review, internal controls and operations, attest services, and tax returns and other filings for not-for-profits. She received a Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance and management, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
Jeff Winter is Chair of RubinBrown’s Public Sector Services Group and a Partner in the Assurance Services Group. He specializes in providing assurance and advisory services to state and local governments including municipalities, state governments and agencies, local school districts, public colleges and universities, and a variety of special business-type districts. Winter received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Missouri Columbia.
Cheryl Wallace has more than 20 years of accounting, auditing and management experience, and has taken over as Partner-in-Charge of RubinBrown’s Assurance Services Group across all offices. She also leads the Public Sector practice in the firm’s Denver office. She received a Bachelor of Science in accountancy from Texas A&M University.
