She was recognized at the MOCPA Awards Celebration on November 16 held at River City Casino.

Since 2006, MOCPA and American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) have partnered to honor outstanding women in the profession through the Women to Watch Awards, highlighting their accomplishments and demonstrating to emerging female leaders that success is not out of reach.

Castellano joined RubinBrown in 2008 after graduating from the University of Missouri Columbia with a Masters in Accountancy.

“Hannah quickly set herself apart as a top performer. After a few years, she expressed an interest in serving clients in new ways, particularly with their financial planning needs,” said Frederick Kostecki, CPA, CGMA, Managing Partner of the St. Louis office. “We appreciated her entrepreneurial spirit and began transitioning her to our individual clients where she has been a true asset to our firm’s Wealth Advisory Services Group.”

She has proven her leadership abilities both in and outside of RubinBrown. In 2012, she was selected to participate in the Baker Tilly International Exchange Program at Staples Rodway LTD in Auckland, New Zealand. In 2014, Castellano was awarded the distinctive “30 Under 30” award by the St. Louis Business Journal. Additionally, she was honored as the recipient of the 2015 RubinBrown Community Service Award for her work and leadership on the Cardinal Glennon Development Board.

She also volunteers with her alma mater, Cor Jesu Academy, assisting in developing innovative programs that offer high school students hands-on corporate career exploration experiences, and serves on RubinBrown’s college campus recruiting team.

Castellano is a member of MOCPA and AICPA.
