This series of three webinars will assist not-for-profit leaders with navigating the post-pandemic environment. We will share best practices for internal controls, processes and governance in the more remote environment, information technology considerations as well as current industry trends and considerations in areas such as talent, recruitment and strategic development.
Session 1: Internal Controls & Governance
Join RubinBrown’s business process expert Kara Hershberger as she helps organizations take a fresh look at their internal control processes, procedures and governance and identify potential improvements.
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to recognize how changes to revenue and expense processes brought on by virtual work could enhance internal control. They will also be able to describe methods to mitigate segregation of duties risks that have challenged organizations in a virtual or hybrid environment. Additionally, participants will learn about and be able to identify enhancements to organizational controls that should be considered to facilitate governance in this “new normal”.
