July 10, 2023- RubinBrown, one of the nation’s top 50 accounting and business consulting firms, recently promoted Diane Dercher, CFA, CDFA, to Partner with RubinBrown Advisors. RubinBrown also promoted Matt Hall, CPA, Katie Kantor, CPA, and Derrick Sims, CPA to Partners in the Tax Services Group. Paul Rodriguez, CPA was promoted to Partner in the Assurance Services Group. 

	Diane Dercher has worked in the financial industry since 1990, and focuses on investment advising, financial planning, and retirement planning. She holds an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Kansas.
	Matt Hall has over 14 years of professional accounting experience. He specializes in not-for-profits, colleges and universities, employee benefit plans, and wealth management clients. He holds an M.B.A. and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rockhurst University.
	Katie Kantor has over 13 years of professional accounting experience. She assists individual and business clients with the preparation of income tax returns and other tax planning and projections. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kansas.
	Paul Rodriguez has more than 10 years of accounting and auditing experience. He primarily serves clients that are privately owned or held by private equity in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, construction, and technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Benedictine College.
	Derrick Sims has over 16 years of experience specializing in providing comprehensive income tax planning, compliance and consulting to business owners and high-net-worth individuals, families and family office clients. He holds a Master of Accounting from Missouri State University.

All promotions were effective June 1, 2023.
