Kansas City – RubinBrown LLP, one of the nation’s top 35 accounting and business consulting firms, has named Megan Knoblauch, CPA as Assistant Managing Partner of the firm. Megan will work closely with the firm’s Managing Partner, Steven Harris, CPA, CGMA, and Chairman, John F. Herber, Jr., CPA, CGMA.
As Assistant Managing Partner, Knoblauch will assist Harris with oversight of operations firmwide and represent the firm in the community and profession across markets. Herber will continue to focus on the firm’s vision and strategic growth initiatives.
This announcement is reflective of the firm’s succession planning process to support growth and expansion as it approaches 75 years in business.
Knoblauch, based out of the firm’s Kansas City office, will continue to be based in Kansas City and serve in her current role as the Kansas City Office’s Managing Partner.
Knoblauch began her career at RubinBrown in 2006. She is actively involved in the profession through various organizations such as the Kansas City Association for Corporate Growth, REACH Healthcare Foundation, Kansas City Manufacturing Network, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Kansas and Missouri Societies of Certified Public Accountants.

Knoblauch earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kansas. Her new role as RubinBrown’ s Assistant Managing Partner was effective February 1, 2026.
