Jeff Sackman, CPA, CM&AA, CGMA, Partner and Vice Chair of RubinBrown’s Private Equity Services Group, was recently named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, 2020 class. More than 600 nominations were submitted and reviewed by a panel of previous 40 Under 40 winners who helped select the new class. Jeff was selected based on his professional achievements and contributions to the St. Louis community.

Jeff started his career with RubinBrown in 2004. In 2012, he partnered with other leaders at the firm to formally launch a practice group focused on private equity. The private equity services group is now one of the leading practice groups at the firm in terms of revenue, and the group continues to experience significant organic growth, having exceeded original business plan expectations by an average of 55% each year.

Jeff is actively involved in the St. Louis community and his family life. He helped to setup and serves as treasurer for the Anything for a Friend Foundation (AFAF), a 501c3 organization that financially supports families as their loved ones battle cancer. He also serves as the treasurer of The Old Cathedral, and he recently ended his term as treasurer of the Gateway PGA REACH Foundation. As a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Jeff serves on the committee that developed the STL Emerging 20 Leadership Program, a program that is in its inaugural year and focused on developing the next generation of corporate leaders in St. Louis. Jeff is also a member of the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisition Advisors. Jeff and his wife keep busy with their five children, ages 2-10. Jeff coaches three soccer teams and assists with his kids’ baseball and basketball teams.

Jeff received a Master’s in Accountancy from Saint Louis University.
