Amie Kuntz is a Partner in RubinBrown’s National Tax Group with 20 years of tax experience across public accounting and private industry. Her background spans large-firm public accounting, corporate tax, and National Tax, giving her a broad perspective on both the technical and practical aspects of taxation.

In her current role, Amie provides tax consulting to privately held businesses and individuals while leading the firm’s analysis and implementation of federal tax developments. She monitors tax legislation and guidance, conducts technical research, and translates complex developments into practical guidance for professionals and clients. She also authors technical tax communications and teaches continuing professional education programs.

Amie is a CPA and holds an M.S. in Accounting and Tax and a B.S. in Accounting from Iowa State University. She serves as Chair of the AICPA’s Individual and Self-Employed Tax Technical Resource Panel and is a former President of the Des Moines Chapter of the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance. Amie was named to Forbes’ America’s Best-in-State CPAs list in 2025 and 2026.
